It’s available now for download the new Nokia Map Loader 2.0 Beta
The Beta Labs at Nokia have come together to release Map Loader 2.0 which is now available for download. Map Loader 2.0 is a web shop where you can purchase and download navigation, traffic information and city guide licenses directly to your device. With no need for activation, you simply download and you are ready to use the software and ‘explore the world’. In version 2.0, you have the new Services tab which lets you browse through Drive, Drive&Walk, Traffic, and City Guides before deciding what to buy.
Also updated is the graphical representation of what region is covered by the license and a clear picture of what you will be buying before making the purchase. The program is looking very nice and the Map Loader 2.0 now supports PC Suite connections when your Nokia is sync’d up to your PC. Make sure you have the latest PC Suite installed before doing so which you can pickup over at http://www.nokia.com/pcsuite

There are a few piece of information to follow before you decide to download Nokia Map Loader 2.0 and outlined on their website.
- Map Loader 2.0 is not tested on S40
- In Drive & Walk the navigation region Russia & Ukraine is only navigable in Russia
- Disconnecting and reconnecting a device while Map Loader 2.0 is running can sometimes lead to unexpected results
- Make sure your phone time is correct before buying any licenses
