Samsung Korea has released a new slim and compact smartphone that may not look as good as the overly hyped HTC Diamond, but certainly packs advanced mobile phone features that could give the Diamond a good competition. With its simple compact bar-type design, mobile phone users who love the classic look of most Nokia cellphone would definitely love the Samsung i200 smartphone. The Samsung i200 is also HSDPA compatible and can give out 3.6mbps data communications speed. Measuring a mere 11.8 mm thinness, the Samsung i200 boasts of high-end features that include a large 2.3” QVGA TFT screen with glossy coating that provides maximum enjoyment to users who are fond of viewing multimedia contents in their mobile phones. The Samsung i200’s multimedia features are further boosts by a 2 megapixel camera as well as a music player that support various digital music formats. This mobile phone beauty is also has a unique light sensor that help users minimize power consumption of the mobile phone. The Samsung i200 runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 OS providing the facility to run MS Office programs such as Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook. It also has intuitive user interface that gives users direct-access to the i200’s menus. Being a smarthphone, the Samsung i200 enables users to manage their email efficiently on the i200. Other features of the Samsung i200 include; 25mb internal memory with SD card slot for storage expansion, Bluetooth, USB support, 4 hours battery talk time and 360 hours standby time.
